| The goal of this entity is to provide a home for orphaned girls in Moron, Haiti. We will not be affiliated with any organization or church. We will lease property, renovate it and operate it as an orphanage. Our doors will be open to any girl, ages 3 to 13 years old, (although the ages may be expanded in the future). We will provide them with a home 24 hours a day, an education, food and most of all love and guidance. We will provide opportunities for the girls to attend church of their denomination. Haiti has no public schools. We will pay the fees for the girls to attend existing private schools. In Moron, and the surrounding area, there are 40,000 people, who are very poor. Moron is located on the western end of Haiti, about 1 to 2 hours by truck from Jeremie, Haiti, depending on the condition of the roads.
There are about 1000 orphans in the area.
We plan to start with accommodations for approximately 15 girls and hope to increase the number served by the orphanage.
We have identified a building which we can lease, and a staff will be hired to run the orphanage. We plan on remodeling the existing building, installing showers and toilets, a septic tank, a cooking area, a dining area and sleeping quarters.
We plan to solicit volunteers to go to Haiti to assist in helping the orphanage.
We will solicit funds to operate the orphanage and the corporation, from all available sources, including individuals, churches and grants.
The express purpose of the Corporation is to operate this orphanage in Haiti. The corporation will dedicate 100% of its time and funds for this purpose.
