We have leased property, renovated and added more space into the building, installed a septic tank, showers, restroom facilities, a cooking area, dining area, and private sleeping quarters.

The orphanage was opened on Feb. 15, 2009 providing a safe new home for six little girls ages 4-8. More girls will be added as funding will allow.

We now have a full time staff and part time security for the premises as well as a part time cook, and laundry person.

Our doors will be open to any girl, ages 3-13 years of age (although the ages may be expanded in the future).

We now provide these special little girls with a safe home 24 hours a day, an education, food and most of all love and guidance.

We provide opportunities for the girls to attend existing schools.

In Moron and the surrounding area there are approximately 40,000 people who are very poor. Moron is located on the western end of Haiti, about 1 to 2 hours by truck from Jeremie, Haiti, depending on road conditions.
